True to the philosophy of promoting traditional flavors, the artisanal production processes that allow us to maintain the essence of our products have been adapted and evolved.

Thanks to its vocation to offer this type of product, CADÍ has obtained two designations of origin : Cadí butter and Urgèlia cheese. The process has been achieved with 80 livestock farms in the counties of Alt Urgell and Cerdanya, which provide almost daily 190,000 liters of milk , which produces 70 million liters a year.

Between 1940 and 1960, cheese marketed in large towns, such as Barcelona, gained a great reputation.

The whole procedure, which combines tradition and technology, has made it possible to achieve a series of distinctions that certify our quality . In the case of Cadí butter and Urgèlia cheese, the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) distinction, as well as the “World Cheese Awards” won by the Cadí Snow in 2017, and by Urgèlia and the Flower, in 2018.
