About us

Who are we?

We are men and women with a love for the lands of Alt Urgell and Cerdanya.
We are heirs to a legacy dating back to 1915.

In that year, the love for our area prompted a group of men and women, led by our founder Josep Zulueta i Gomis, to join forces to find a worthy way of making a living on this land in the Pyrenees Mountains. They found the answer they were looking for in the production of milk and its transformation into butter and cheeses.

Putting into practice a revolutionary idea for their times, these farmers organized themselves as a dairy cooperative.

This is a model that allows us to live a worthy life on this land and, at the same time, to keep our land alive.

It is a cooperative model that is respectful of tradition, of the environment and of our people, allowing our dairy farming partners to obtain a fair price for their milk, and our workers to obtain fair wages.

Our commitment is to keep this legacy alive.
